Péter Virágvölgyi was a researcher, professor and lover of writing. In addition to his work as a prominent font designer and calligrapher, he developed the italic version of Hungarian braille.
As head of the Department of Design at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts, he published a book on digital typography, which has since been regarded as a basic textbook in the teaching of typography. In addition to his personal objects and works, the exhibition consists of posters submitted to the national competition honoring his legacy, which were selected by a professional jury.
