Aladár Komlós Award Ceremony
Aladár Komlós was a prominent figure in 20th century Hungarian literature. In order to promote his life’s work, his former high school students and admirers of literature founded the Aladár Komlós Prize. Each year, the jury (Sándor Bazsányi literary historian, literary critic, Dr. Ferenc Salamon chief physician, Komlós’s former student and Iván Sándor writer, chairman of the jury) awards the prize to a person with an outstanding career in literary history/ literary criticism.
This year’s winner is József Tamás Reményi literary historian, literary critic and editor, who will be introduced by István Margócsy literary historian and literary critic.
The award ceremony is linked to a conference, where renowned literary historians Béla Pomogáts, Zsuzsa Selyem and György Tverdota give lectures on Komlós’ oeuvre.
