Mátyás OLÁH‘s art does not fit in with his surroundings or even with himself. His origins are unknown; he is an ostracized alien in these lands. His paintings and carvings show strange worlds, which simultaneously seem old and new, familiar and unknown. He is an experimental artist, who seldom repeats himself. His paintings and drawings are varied both in their technique and subject matter, often yielding surprising results. It is interesting to see how a modest set of tools can produce such incredible works of art, rendering the invisible visible. He is rarely able to present his works outside his own home.
