From foundation to masks. Hair-Makeup-Masks-Prosthetics Series winter/spring
Event series by Film-Virage Kulturális Egyesület
Taxidermia (Pálfi György, 2006, 9’)
guest: Pálfi György, director
moderator: dr. Zalán Márk
There are few works in Hungarian film history that divided the audience as much as György Pálfi‘s second feature film. Taxidermia, which tells the story of three generations, is a special piece of Hungarian cinema, not only because of its astonishing, sometimes nauseating scenes and its peculiarly dark humor, but also because of Iván Pohárnok’s extraordinary makeup art. We will discuss the movie with the director himself, György Pálfi.
All films are either subtitled or dubbed in Hungarian
