After his short films My Guide and Chuchotage, Barnabás Tóth’s first feature film was released this fall. The film depicts a peculiar relationship between two people. The film takes place is 1948, shortly after the Second World War and the Holocaust, as the Rákosi regime is being formed in Hungary. Two survivors, Aldo (Károly Hajduk), a gynecologist, and the young woman called Klára (Abigél Szőke) cling to each other in an effort to endure the hardships of the new age. In this quiet drama, hair, make-up and masks play a huge role. Our guest is the film’s makeup artist, Barbara Kund (Genesis, Comrade Draculics).
All films are either subtitled or dubbed in Hungarian
